Pain Management

From January of 2005 through March of 2008 we offered a multidisciplinary pain program, combining:

Group support
Instruction in relaxation techniques including meditation, guided imagery, and others
Cognitive behavioral therapy
Group visit medical care and instruction in nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and other factors. We also introduced the work of John Sarno, which was responsible for a cure of longstanding fibromyalgia in 2 patients and dramatic reductions in pain in a number of other patients with conditions ranging from degenerative joint disease to spondylolisthesis

This was a very successful program and will continue with the first three elements, even though the physician who provided the medical aspect of the program has moved on. Daily Agendas and links to Materials from our Program
