I saw a fim last night shown by Vancuouver for Peace, called What Would Jesus Buy?  It was about the civil disobedience and street theater of Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir as they went on a “cross-country mission to save Christmas from the Shopocalypse: the end of mankind from consumerism, over-consumption and the fires of eternal debt!”   I highly recommend it, as a reminder to think about what we are doing every time we head to the store.   I left behind a lot of “stuff” as I moved from California, and was chagrined during the film to think about how I had acquired it.    - Connie
