June 13. Well, I have landed in Vancouver and started work at the residency. Huge learning curve, but I am excited to be here and they seem happy to have me. My first lecture to the residents is in a few weeks. I can choose any topic I want and have been invited to talk about integrative medicine. I’m trying to decide which subject to start with. . .

Hi Connie:
Glad to hear that you’ve all made it up there. I hope your first lecture goes without a hitch. I just checked out this new site and I love it. Very user friendly. Thanks! Gail Sahlman
Thanks for the greeting. I miss you all.
Connie
Dear Connie,
How fabulous that there is still a way to be in contact with you. I felt badly that I never found the time to connect with you before you left. And I miss you on many levels: as a physician and mentor, for sure. But also as that bright and inspiring woman, who “in a world where everywhere the wells of kindness seem to be drying” has found a way to live her values and positively impact the lives of people around her.
And now, although I had intended to write more, little David is needing me, and so must sign off.
I hope you are having fun up there in the North Land.
Love, Sommer
Hi Connie,
Hope your health is good. I miss you and am adapting to you being gone. It is good for me. I have taken better care of myself knowing my safety net is gone. Have gotten off sleep meds and cortef. Yeah!! Not hugely energetic but it is okay. got my own Rife machine and am zapping the remaining bugs from CR. Feeling good. Hope you are too!!
Love, Melissa

Hello, Connie. I just found this blog site and am happy to feel that you are still with us to some extent. I have been wondering about your health and how you are feeling. I miss you so much. Not having you here physically feels very strange, still.
Hello — I check back periodically to see if there’s any news. As with the others, I am glad to hear that you have landed in Vanc and I am not surprised that you are sharing your wisdom with as many people as possible. Thinking of you. TMabrey
